Physiotherapy .

Hello! My name is Dag and I am a Physiotherapist with my own private practice in Nanaimo BC.
This is my new Blog, a place where I can share my passion for Physiotherapy and hopefully in the process help people gain a better understanding of what Physiotherapy is.
We can help improve the health and fitness of individuals of all ages. Physiotherapists are the body experts and have extensive knowledge of the human body and know how to assess and treat orthopaedic & soft tissue injuries. Physiotherapists are involved in the rehabilitation processes from acute injury to return to sports activities.
My wish is to highlight the importance for people to seek help early following injuries to prevent complications such as delayed healing,re-injury and chronic pain.
Coming up I will discuss various conditions and pain syndromes and explain how Physiotherapy can help. If anyone have any questions regarding injuries etc, please feel free to respond and I will reply on my blog page.
I hope to hear from lots of people to inspire some healthy discussions regarding health and healing. By challenging our minds and asking the right questions we can continue to improve our treatments and come up with better solutions in our quest for better health and fitness where no pain and injuries need to exist.
